Bharathiya Janatha Party National President Manya Shri J. P. Nadda during his tour to Andhra Pradesh, an interactive session with intellectuals, and Padma Awardees and other award winners was organized at Rajuhmundry. MLC Shri Madhav invited the guests, and in his welcome address he said that on the thinking lines of Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Modi ji, this special session has been organized to felicitate national winners from various fields like health, education, arts, social service, etc. Further, he introduced Prof. Dr. Kutikuppala Surya Rao, an eminent physician and Padmashree awardee, Guinness World Record holder, 3 international awards and 8 national awards winner, and author of 8 books and 120 research papers, to J. P. Nadda ji. He appreciated the services of Dr. Surya Rao and felicitated him richly. He asked him to continue the services for upliftment of the poor and downtrodden in the country.
In view of Dr. Surya Rao’s outstanding contribution in the health sector and prevention of epidemics besides addressing the UNO General Assembly at New York, Shri Nadda advised Dr. Surya Rao to further continue to participate actively and to take the national flag into greater heights globally.
As the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi ji has been proudly presenting the excellency of the growth of India at all summits, let all the intellectuals join hands with our Prime Minister to create a new India during this Azaadi ka Amrutha Mahotsav, a historical period we are passing through, Mr. Nadda added. BJP state president Shri Somu Veerraju, BJP leader and famous filmstar Smt. Jayapradha, BJP national leader, Smt. Purandeswari, MPs Shri G.V.L.Narasimha Rao, Shri Sujana Chowdary and many central BJP leaders participated in the meeting. Drama artist, Shri Y. Gopala Rao, Tribal educationalist Smt. Prasanna Shri and others were also felicitated. The event ended with Janaganamana.
