LHB COACHES TO RAJYARANI EXPRESS, PURI-TIRUPATI AND BILASPUR TIRUPATI EXPRESS TRAINS INTRODUCED
In a continued effort to enhance passenger comfort and safety, Indian Railways has decided to introduce modern LHB (Linke Hofmann Busch) coaches for several trains being operated by East Coast Railway.
The introduction of LHB coaches will provide not only enhanced safety, but also improved riding comfort, and better travel experience for passengers. These LHB coaches introduced in the Rourkela- Gunupur Rajyarani express, Puri-Tirupati express and Bilaspur- Tirupati express.
Train No. 18117 Rourkela-Gunupur Rajyarani Express will operate with LHB coaches along with a revised composition with effect from 25th March 2026.
In the return direction, Train No. 18118 Gunupur- Rourkela Rajyarani Express will operate with LHB coaches and revised composition with effect from 26th March 2026.
Composition: The train will consist of 17 coaches comprising: 2nd AC – 01, 3rd AC – 03, Sleeper Class Coaches – 07, General Coaches – 04, Second Class cum Luggage (Divyangjan) Coach – 01, Luggage/Generator/Break Van – 01 in this composition.
Furhter LHB Coaches have been recently introduced in the Train No. 17479/17480 Puri- Tirupati- Puri express and in the train No. 17481/17482 Bilaspur-Tirupati-Bilaspur express trains with revised composition.
The revised composition of these trains is 2nd AC – 01, 3rd AC – 05, Sleeper Class Coaches – 06, General Coaches – 04, Second Class cum Luggage (Divyangjan) Coach – 01, Luggage/Generator/Break Van – 01 in this composition
