Vice Adm Sanjay Bhalla, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command, welcomed and addressed distinguished guests at a reception hosted onboard INS Nilgiri in Sydney during the Kakadu Fleet Review.
Vice Adm Mark Hammond, Chief of Navy, Royal Australian Navy, honoured the occasion as the Chief Guest and addressed the gathering. The event brought together Chiefs of Navies, senior diplomats and representatives from participating ships of Exercise Kakadu.
The evening strengthened bonds among partner navies and reaffirmed a shared commitment to maritime security, stability and collaboration in the Indo-Pacific.
