ECORWWO & ECORSA JOINTLY ORGANISE SPORTS MEET FOR WOMEN STAFF OF WALTAIR DIVISION


In a spirited initiative to promote fitness, teamwork, and fellowship among women employees, the East Coast Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation (ECoRWWO) under the guidance of the President ECoRWWO Smt Jyotsna Bohra in association with the East Coast Railway Sports Association (ECoRSA) organised a Sports Meet for the women staff of Waltair Division.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 130 women staff members from various departments of the division. The sports meet featured a variety of athletic and recreational events catering to different age groups, encouraging inclusivity and active participation.
The competitions included, 100 metres run, 50 metres run for women staff above 50 years of age, Three-legged race, Tug of war, Cricket, Archery and Several fun games
The atmosphere was vibrant and filled with enthusiasm as participants showcased their sporting spirit and teamwork. The event not only encouraged physical fitness but also strengthened bonding and morale among the women employees.
Winners and runners-up in various events were awarded medals by Smt Jyotsna Bohra in recognition of their outstanding performances. In addition, all participants were presented with T-shirts and participation gifts as a token of appreciation and encouragement.
