NextVisakhapatnam Vizagvision: Comstock’s 350 crew shows marine combat strength….Hot, humid weather did not stop a set of young officers from US naval ships USS Comstock and Ralph Johnson from moving around and enjoying the beauty of Visakhapatnam, charms of its people, and the spicy food here.The US personnel are here on a joint exercise with the Indian Navy as part of ongoing Tiger Triumph-25. The harbor exercise is going on and they would later move into the sea for the sea phase of the exercise. The Whidbey Island-Class dock landing ship USS Comstock (LSD 45) and US Navy’s guided-missile destroyer USS Ralph Johnson (DDG 114) arrived at Visakhapatnam for Exercise Tiger Triumph-2025 last week.Naval Officer B Stocks of USS Comstock said he was feeling proud being part of the Tiger Triumph exer cise. Speaking to the media, he said their primary task was to encompass amphibi-ous operations and human-itarian aid disaster relief.”Comstock has huge space to bring in landing crafts, relief material, med-icines and other equipment to the affected areas. Hav-ing 350 personnel on board, we bring tremendous amo-unts of marine combat po-wer ashore for them to exe-cute their missions, devel-op force, increase tempo, and proceed towards their objective, he stated.

Visakhapatnam Vizag vision: బిమ్స్ టెక్ కాంక్లెవ్ 2025 ను విశాఖపట్నం పోర్టు అధారిటీ ఆధ్వర్యంలో ఘనంగా ప్రారంభించారు. కేంద్ర పోర్టులు నౌకా మరియు జలరవాణా శాఖా మంత్రి శ్రీ శరబానంద సోనోవాల కార్యక్రమాన్ని జ్యోతి ప్రజ్వలనం చేసి ప్రారంభించారు. బిమ్స్ టెక్ సభ్య దేశాలైన శ్రీలంక, మయన్మార్, బంగ్లాదేశ్, బూటాన్, నేపాల్ , ధాయ్ లాండ్ నుంచి ప్రతినిధులు హాజరయ్యారు. రెండు రోజుల పాటు జరగనున్న ఈ సదస్సులో బంగాళాఖాత తీర దేశాలలో సముద్ర రవాణా అభివృద్ది, పరస్పర సహకారం వాణిజ్య అభివృద్దికి తీసుకోవాల్సిన పలు అంశాలను చర్చించనున్నారు. ఆయా దేశాల ప్రతినిధులు తమ సందేశాన్ని ఇచ్చారు. కార్యక్రమంలో కేంద్ర పోర్టుల సహాయ మంత్రి శంతను ఠాకూర్ , షిప్పింగ్ సెక్రెటరి రామచంద్రన్ మేజర్ పోర్టుల చైర్ పర్సన్ లు డిప్యూటీ చైర్ పర్సన్ లు మరియు ఇతర ఉన్నతాధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
