SPECIAL TRAIN SERVICES EXTENDED FOR THE MAHA KUMBH MELA
Keeping the demand of the public of this region in the mind and in order to clear extra rush of passengers, pilgrims and devotees to Maha Kumbh Mela, East Coast Railway has decided to extend special train services for two more trips as detailed below.
VISAKHAPATNAM- GORAKHPUR-VISAKHAPATNAM MAHA KUMBH SPECIAL
The train No. 08588 Visakhapatnam- Gorakhpur Special Express will leave Visakhapatnam on 10.02.2025 and 22.02.2025 at 22:20hrs which will reach Gorakhpur on 12.02.2025 & 24.02.2025 respectively at 19.30 hrs. (02 Trips)
In return direction the train No. 08587 Gorakhpur -Visakhapatnam Special Express will leave Gorakpur at 17.45 hrs on 13.02.2025 and 25.02.2025 which will reach Visakhapatnam on 15.02.2025 and 27.02.2025 respectively at 15.55 hrs. (02 Trips)
Stoppages: Vizanagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Brahmapur, Chhatrapur, Balugaon, Khurda Road, Bhunbaneswar, Naraj Marthapur, Dhenkanal. Angul, Boinda, Rairakhol, Sambalpur City, Jharsuguda Road, Raigarh,Champa, Bilaspur, Pendra Road, Anuppur, Shadol, Umaria, Katni, Mahir, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Mirazpur, Chunar, Varanasi, Jaunpur, Aunrihar, Mau, Deoria Sadar between Visakhapatnam & Gorakhpur.
Composition: This special train will have 2nd AC Coaches -04, 3rd AC Economy Coaches -03, Sleeper Class Coaches -08, General Second Class Sitting Coaches-4, Second class cum luggage/ Disabled coach-1 and Generator Motor Car-1.
