DRM REVIEWED SAFETY AND INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS
Divisional Railway Manager Shri Manoj Kumar Sahoo, accompanied by Senior officials belonging to safety, Civil Engineering, Signal & Telecom, Mechanical, Electrical, Traction Distribution, operations etc. undertook a thorough safety inspection of the Level Crossing Gate, Bridge and amenity checks at stations in Bobbili-Vizianagaram line today i.e 05.02.2025. The inspection was focused on safety audit, reviewing the progress of ongoing infrastructure works, passenger amenities and Amrit Bharat Station works.
DRM conducted safety audit of the Level Crossing gate LC-316 and a bridge in Bobbili- Komatipalli section and interacted with the Gatemen, gangmen and staff to assess their skills and knowledge in various aspects involved in the safety protocol and their proficiency.
DRM conducted detailed inspection at Bobbil Railway station to review the progress of Amrit station works including inspection of the 12 metres wide Foot Over Bridges, inspection of critical areas and yards, emphasizing on operational enhancements and developmental plans of the station building. Shri Manoj Kumar Sahoo inspected the Komatipalli station, Traction Sub Station and provision of additional passenger amenities at station.
DRM also conducted a window-trailing inspection of the section, overseeing the ongoing infrastructure development activities and reviewing the progress of amenities.
