- Vizagvision Visakhapatnam: GOOD NEWS:REGULARISATION OF SPECIAL TRAINS AS WEEKLY EXPRESS TRAINSThe Ministry of Railways has approved the regularisation of FOUR Train-on-Demand Specials operated by East Coast Railway, to be operated as regular Weekly Express trains. This move will provide enhanced passenger convenience, improved connectivity, and better utilization of existing rakes. The date of introduction will be intimated later. The details of the regularised trains are as under:VISAKHAPATNAM – TIRUPATI EXPRESS (TRAIN NOS. 18507/18508):The special train number 08583/08584 Special will be regularised as 18507/18508 to run as Weekly express 18507 from Vishakhapatnam on Mondays which will leave Visakhapatnam at 19.10hrs and will reach Duvvada at 19.48hrs and departure at 19.50hrs and will reach Tirupati at 09.30hrs on the next day.In return direction the 18508 express will leave Tirupati on Tuesdays at 21.50hrs which will reach Duvvada on the next day at 12.28hrs and departure at 12.30hrs and will reach Visakhapatnam at 13.30hrsStoppages: Duvvada, Anakapalli, Elamanchili, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Nidadavolu, Tanuku, Bhimavaram Town, Akividu, Kaikalur, Gudivada, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Srikalahasti and Renigunta between Visakhapatnam – Tirupati stations.Coach Composition: 2AC – 01, 3AC – 07, 3AC Economy – 01, Sleeper Class – 06, General Second class – 04, Pantry Car-1, Second-Class luggage cum Divyangjan coach – 01 and Generator Motor car-1in its composition.VISAKHAPATNAM – SMVT BENGALURU EXPRESS (TRAIN NOS. 18509/18510)The special trains numbered 08581/08582 Special will be regularised to as weekly express 18509 from Visakhapatnam on Sundays which will leave Visakhapatnam at 15.20hrs that reaches Duvvada at 16.00hrs and departure at 16.02hrs and will reach SMVT Bengaluru at 13.50hrs on Mondays.In return direction the train No. 18510 express will leave SMVT Bengaluru at 15.50hrs on Mondays which will reach Duvvada at 12.28hrs on the next day and departure at 12.30hrs and will reach Visakhapatnam at 13.30hrs.Stoppages: Duvvada, Anakapalli, Elamanchili, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Katapadi, Jolarpetai, Kuppam, Bangarpet and Krishnarajapuram between Visakhapatnam – SMV Bengaluru stations.Coach Composition: 2AC – 03, 3AC – 04, Sleeper Class – 09, General Second class – 04 and Second-Class luggage cum Divyangjan coach – 02 in its composition.VISAKHAPATNAM – TIRUPATI EXPRESS (TRAIN NOS. 18505/18506)The special train number 08547/08548 Special will be regularised as 18505/18506 to run as Weekly express 18507 from Vishakhapatnam on Wednesdays which will leave Visakhapatnam at 19.00hrs and will reach Duvvada at 19.35hrs and departure at 19.37hrs and will reach Tirupati at 09.30hrs on the next day.In return direction the 18508 express will leave Tirupati on Thursdays at 21.50hrs which will reach Duvvada on the next day at 12.28hrs and departure at 12.30hrs and will reach Visakhapatnam at 13.30hrsStoppages: Duvvada, Anakapalle, Elamanchali, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Nidadavolu, Tanuku, Bhimavaram Town, Kaikalur, Gudivada, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Srikalahasti and Renigunta between Visakhapatnam and TirupatiCoach Composition: 2AC – 03, 3AC – 04, Sleeper Class – 09, General Second class – 04 and Second-Class luggage cum Divyangjan coach – 02 in its composition.VISAKHAPATNAM – CHARLAPALLI EXPRESS (TRAIN NOS. 18527/18528):The special train No. 08579/08580 Special will be regularised as18527/18528 to run as Weekly express 18527 from Vishakhapatnam on Fridays which will leave Visakhapatnam at 17.30hrs and will reach Duvvada at 16.03hrs and departure at 16.05hrs and will reach Charlapalli at 08.00hrs on the next day.In return direction the 18528 express will leave Charlapalli on Saturdays at 14.30hrs which will reach Duvvada on the next day at 04.35hrs and departure at 04.37hrs and will reach Visakhapatnam at 05.20hrsStoppages: Duvvada, Anakapalle, Elamanchili, Tuni, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Rayanapadu, Khammam, Warangal and Kazipet between Visakhapatnam and Charlapalli.The introduction of these express services will be made effective from an early convenient date, to be notified separately.
