Women Employees of ND(V) Complete Trekking Expedition at Manali,Vizagvision.. An all women trekking excursion by ladies of Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam was successfully undertaken at Manali and the team returned to Visakhapatnam on 28 Jan 19. The team comprised of 27 women employees alongwith 03 male coordinators undertook the expedition from 21 to 25 Jan 19 with an aim to foster team spirit and sportsman spirit among women employees of the yard as also develop endurance and better response to challenging situations .The team departed Visakhapatnam on 18 Jan 19 and reached Atal Bihari Vajapayee institute of Mountaineering & Allied Sports (ABVIMAS) at Manali on 21 Jan 19. Despite heavy snowfall on most of the days, the team successfully completed the trek to Hidamaba Devi temple and Sarwamata Temple covering over 25 kms.
