80TH MEETING OF TOWN OFFICIAL LANGUAGE IMPLEMENTATION COMMITTEE HELD AT WALTAIR DIVISION The 80th meeting of the Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC) was held today at the Divisional Railway Manager’s Office, Waltair Division, East Coast Railway, under the chairmanship of the Divisional Railway Manager Shri Lalit Bohra.Anirban Biswas, Deputy Director (Implementation) / South, Bengaluru, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, attended the meeting and reviewed various initiatives being undertaken for the effective implementation of Hindi as the official language, in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs.During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on progressive use of Hindi in official work, compliance with official language rules, and measures to further improve the use of Hindi in correspondence, noting, and reporting. Emphasis was also laid on giving due importance to the official languages of the respective states, along with Hindi, the official language of the Union. ADRM Infra Shri E Santharam; Incharge-Secretary Rajbhasha, Waltiar Division Shri N K Singh were coordinated the meeting.Heads of 42 offices and other senior officers of various Central Government establishments located in the TOLIC jurisdiction participated in the meeting and shared best practices and action plans for strengthening the implementation of the Official Language Policy.
