Visakhapatnam Vizagvision: NAVAL PILOTS PASSING OUT PARADE AT INS RAJALI, ARAKKONAM 16 Naval Pilots graduated from the Helicopter Training School (HTS) at INS Rajali on successful completion of the 105 Helicopter Conversion Course (HCC). These Officers were awarded the coveted ‘Golden Wings’ by Vice Admiral Sanjay Bhalla AVSM, NM, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command at an impressive Passing Out Parade (POP) on 09 Dec 25. The POP marked the culmination of an intense 22-week programme comprising rigorous flying and ground training at Indian Naval Air Squadron (INAS) 561.2. The Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command Rolling Trophy for the trainee pilot standing First in Order of Merit in flying was awarded to Lieutenant Aditya Singh Gaur. The Governor of Kerala Rolling Trophy for first in overall order of merit was awarded to Lieutenant Nikhil Tyagi acknowledging their exceptional dedication and performance during the course.3. Upholding its mission statement, ‘On time, Every time’, in its rich heritage spanning more than five decades, the HTS has trained 884 pilots from the Indian Navy, Coast Guard as well as the Armed forces of Friendly Foreign Nations (FFNs) and continues to provide helicopter flying training of the highest standards. The newly graduated pilots will be deployed to frontline units of the Indian Navy undertaking reconnaissance, surveillance, Search and Rescue (SAR) and Anti-piracy operations.
