WALTAIR DIVISION CELEBRATES ‘HAR GHAR TIRANGA’ CAMPAIGN 2025 WITH EXCITING ACTIVITIES
On the eve of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ (HGT) campaign 2025, Waltair Division has initiated to host vibrant events to honor this national initiative under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager Shri Lalit Bohra. Designed to instill patriotic fervor and a sense of unity, the Division has been engaged with a variety of programs for staff, their families, and the broader community.
The wide range of activities are being organized over the Division and includes Rangoli competitions, essay writing contests, quiz programs, enthusiastic Tiranga-themed bike and cycle rallies, a Tiranga Concert, Tiranga Art painting, and creative selfie booths etc. All these events have been designed to bring the community together under the tricolor and to celebrate the values it embodies.
Marking the occasion, the Personnel Branch of Waltair Division today conducted a lively Rangoli competition at the Rail Club, exclusively for women railway employees. The contest witnessed enthusiastic participation and showcased splendid artistry. Smt Jyotsna Bohra, President of ECoRWWO, along with other executive members, graced the event as judges, announcing the first, second, and third place winners. This special celebration underscored the importance of inclusion and the creative contributions of women in the Division.
Furthering the patriotic spirit, a Film Festival is also part of the week-long celebrations. On August 8, 2025, a patriotic film will be screened at the Sunset Lounge, Railway Club. The event is expected to draw a large audience, including children, ECORWWO members, staff, and officers, celebrating together in a vibrant display of unity and love for the nation.
Waltair Division appealed all the public to take active part in fostering national pride and community spirit through such meaningful engagements, making the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign a memorable affair for all.
