NEW EXECUTIVE TEAM TAKES OVER WOMEN’S WING VCCI
On 14th June 2024, the Women’s Wing VCCI team led by President Jeeja Valsaraj and ably supported by Secretary Anila Narla and Treasurer Kavita Khara presented the year end report for the year 2023 -24. This marked the successful end of President Jeeja and her team’s stupendous effort over the past two years since they took over in June 2022.
The Secretary report by Anila highlighted the well received Natural Living Expo, the Student training in Basics of Entrepreneurship in association with GITAM University, the No Plastic Drive in association with ITAAP followed by a NO Plastics Expo, Eco Friendly Ganesha Idol campaign, PoSH workshop, the Chai Pe Business workshop in association with Amazon Web Services and several Member Speak sessions were conducted by the Women’s Wing.
The new team led by President Sandhya Ravi Godey, Vice President Anila Narla, Secretary Parveen Hosain, Treasurer Vani Kancharla and committee members Prerna Baid, Meghna Oza, Reethika Kurminaidu, Rajini Chitra, Parvin Rajulu, Neetu Singh and IPC Jeeja Valsaraj accepted the responsibility of keeping the Women’s Wing active and relevant and steer the organisation towards the mission and the vision of the Women’s Wing.
After the formal installation, President Sandhya shared that the plan of the new team included conducted training and up skilling sessions for women entrepreneurs already in business as well as those who wish to embark on a business journey, encouraging school and college students to consider entrepreneurship as a future option, connecting women entrepreneurs across the city and surrounding districts with potential buyers, creating opportunities for Women’s Wing members to share and display their products and services and to meet other Women organisations and join hands at collaborative events. They would also continue to conduct popular events like the Student Entrepreneurship Training and the Natural Living Expo.
The AGM was attended by members of the Women’s Wing VCCI , VCCI President Mr Sudarshan Swamy, Vice President Sri Kancharla Krishna Kumar, Secretary Sri Rolland Williams, Treasurer Riaz Khan, Committee member Ravi Godey, Youth Wing President Divya Abhilash, Vice President Rohit Kancharla, Secretary Sarab Singh Anand, Treasurer Srikanth Kurminaidu.
VCCI President Sudarshan Swamy and a few other invitees congratulated the outgoing team and wished the new team success in all their endeavours.
