EXERCISE JAL PRAHAR at Visakhapatnam
Exercise JAL PRAHAR, an Indian Navy and Indian Army biannual joint exercise, commenced at Visakhapatnam on 22 Jan 24. The harbour phase is at Visakhapatnam from 22-26 Jan 24 while the sea phase will be conducted off Kakinada from 27-31 Jan 24. The exercise aims to consolidate synergy among Armed Forces and validate Standard Operating Procedures to undertake complex amphibious operations.
