Clean-Up Drive at Walkers Park at Waltair Railway Stadium Organised Swachh Shramdan in Visakhapatnam,Vizagvision…Shouldering social responsibility to Swachh Bharat Mission, Waltair Division officials under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager Shri Chetan Kumar Shrivastava has organised the clean-up drive at Walkers Park at Waltair Railway Stadium. East Coast Railway Womens Welfare Organisation under the leadership of Shalini Shrivastava, E. Co. Railway Sports Association personnel and about 200 staff and Officers participated in the drive. They collected about 2 tonnes garbage and cleaned entire park. The park being used by the walkers, senior citizens apart from Sports personnel.
ADRM (Infra) Shri Ashay Saxena, ADRM (Operations) Shri Ramachandra Rao, Brach Officers, Staff took part in this cleaning camp.
Waltair Division took several initiatives under Swachh Bharat Mission to attain the noble cause. To create awareness on the Cleanliness and promote the elements of Swachchta, efforts have been taken by the division with frequent campaigns and drives in various locations apart from Railway premises.
Speaking at the programme DRM said, “We need to make a conscious effort to keep the railway premises clean and as committed to contribute 52 hours in a year towards Swachhta, we will continue our drive to mobilize the public to take part in the noble mission and massive drives will be organized in various parts of the Division”.
