LIMA-19 was formally inaugurated by PM of Malaysia, YB Mahithir Bin Mohammad with a grand Opening Ceremony at the Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre (MIEC) today, 26 Mar. Vice Admiral Karambir Singh, FOC-in-C ENC attended the Opening Ceremony along with the Cdr Sachin Dhir CO INS Kadmatt. Subsequently, ship’s company of Kadmatt participated in the Man and Cheer Ship as also the Chetak aircraft embarked onboard took part in the flypast as part of the final Dress Rehearsal of the the International Fleet Review(IFR) which is scheduled for tomorrow, 27 March which would be reviewed by the PM of Malaysia, YB Mahithir Bin Mohammad.
On the sidelines of the IFR, personnel from INS Kadmatt interacted with personnel from friendly foreign navies as also attended the Maritime Exhibition demonstration at the Resorts World
