HAR GHAR TIRANGA CAMPAIGN IGNITES PATRIOTIC SPIRIT IN WALTAIR DIVISION
Waltair Division has taken significant steps in energizing the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, marked by the enthusiastic participation of employees, public, and children. Led by Divisional Railway Manager Waltair, Shri Lalit Bohra, the campaign has seen a series of vibrant events in celebration of the 76th Independence Day.
As part of the nationwide initiative to ignite patriotism, the Electric Loco Shed, Waltair—led by Shri B S Rao, Sr DEE TRS, and Shri R D Sahu, DEE TRS—organized a massive rally today. The event witnessed collective participation from railway employees, their families, and the wider community, instilling a deep sense of pride and honor among all attendees.
The Divisional Cultural Association of Waltair Division added further colour to the festivities with a concert of patriotic songs and a thought-provoking skit at Gate No. 2, Visakhapatnam Railway Station. The performances highlighted the importance of cleanliness, championing the mission of “Swachh Bharat–Swachh Rail.” DRM Waltair, Shri Lalit Bohra, graced the occasion as the chief guest, alongwith other branch officers, railway staff, and the public.
Shri Lalit Bohra praised the Divisional Cultural Association for their impactful portrayal of Swachhata and inspiring patriotic songs performances, which left the audience deeply moved. The Visakhapatnam Railway Station and DRM Office complex, illuminated in the colors of the national flag, resonated with the festive spirit, reflecting the unity and exuberance of Independence Day celebrations across the division
