INS Kadmatt 9th anniversary.


INS Kadmatt, a formidable Kamorta Class Anti-Submarine Warfare Corvette of the Indian Navy was commissioned on 07 January 2016 and celebrated its 9th anniversary today. The indigenously built warship exemplifies India’s technological advancements and self-reliance under the Make in India initiative and remains a most compact and comprehensive fighting machine.
Equipped with advanced sensors and weapon systems, INS Kadmatt plays a critical role in safeguarding India’s maritime interests by detecting and neutralizing threats in all domains of warfare at sea i.e surface, sub-surface and air.
Over the past nine years, it has participated in key national and international exercises, enhancing its operational capabilities and fostering global naval cooperation.
On this milestone, we salute the brave officers and sailors who have served aboard INS Kadmatt, upholding the highest traditions of the Indian Navy. Your dedication strengthens our maritime security and inspires us all.
