Tributes Paid to Battle Casualty Naik Dokkari Rajesh
In a solemn ceremony, officials from the Indian Army, Navy, District Administration, Police Department, and NCC gathered to pay their respects to the late Naik (OFC) Dokkari Rajesh, a battle casualty, during his funeral with full military honours at his native village in Chetlatandra, Santhabommali, Srikakulam District on July 18, 2024.
The ceremony was attended by family members, a large gathering of locals, and Guard of Honour paraded by the Army Air Defence College, Gopalpur, Odisha, and the Police Department, acknowledging Naik Rajesh’s ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
Earlier, Rear Adm M Murali Mohan Raju, Chief Staff Officer (P&A) HQENC, paid homage to the brave heart during a wreath-laying ceremony held at INHS Kalyani in Visakhapatnam. Representatives from Station Headquarters (Army), District Officials, and City Police also placed wreaths and paid tributes to the departed soul.
