The event saw the felicitation of 49 Railway employees for their outstanding performance, as well as the distribution of several efficiency shields to different divisions and stations across the region.*Key Highlights of the Event:49 Railway Employees Felicitated: In recognition of exemplary service, integrity and professional excellence: 49 Railway employees from different departments and divisions of East Coast Railway were conferred with the prestigious Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar-2025. The awardees include officers and staff from Operating, Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Signal & Telecommunication, Commercial, Security and other frontline departments, who distinguished themselves through outstanding performance, innovation, leadership, safety initiatives and sustained contribution to organisational efficiency. The awards were presented by Shri Parmeshwar Funkwal, General Manager, East Coast Railway, acknowledging their commitment, devotion to duty and significant role in achieving organisational objectives.*Overall Efficiency Shield Awarded to Waltair & Sambalpur Division Jointly* : In a significant achievement, Waltair & Sambalpur Divisions were jointly honored with the Overall Efficiency Shield, recognizing their exemplary performance in maintaining high standards of operational efficiency, safety and service delivery. *Waltair Division bagged 9 efficiency shields* received by Divisional Railway Manager Shri Lalit Bohra and respective Branch Officers from Waltair Division.
