Inter Group Competition of NCC held at Visakhapatnam…IGC(NSC)-2024 As a precursor to the All India Nau Sainik NCC Camp, Inter-Group Competitions were conducted at Visakhapatnam from 07 Jul to 16 Jul 24. The Camp coordinated by 4(A)Naval Medical Unit NCC of Visakhapatnam Group under the aegis of NCC Directorate (AP&T) Visakhapatnam. The event conducted at INS Vishwakarma, showcased the skills, dedication, and competitive spirit of cadets from several naval units of Andra Pradesh and Telangana Directorate. The Closing ceremony held on 15 July 2024, was graced by Air Commodore VM Reddy, Deputy Director General, AP & T Directorate as Chief Guest.
The competitions featured a range of events designed to test the cadet’s proficiency, teamwork, and strategic abilities in various events including firing, drill, sailing and boat pulling.
The 4(A)Naval Medical Unit NCC was adjudged as the Best Naval NCC Unit of AP&T Directorate.
In his address, Air Commodore VM Reddy commended the cadets for their exceptional performance and highlighted the importance of such competitions in fostering camaraderie, discipline and leadership.
The event concluded with the distribution of awards and accolades to the winning teams and outstanding performers. The IGC (NSC) 2024 was a resounding success, reflecting the high standards and dedication of the naval units under the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Directorate
