Indian Naval Hospital Kalyani celebrated its 61st anniversary today. The hospital provides tertiary care services to serving personnel, veterans and their families from Andra Pradesh, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and adjacent areas of Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
The hospital has come a long way from its commissioning in 1962. It started as 60 bed sickbay and is now a 306 bedded multi-speciality centre. To cater the workload, the government have approved its upgradation to a 604 bedded Command Hospital. Veterans will be particularly benefited once the upgrade is complete.
INHS Kalyani’s credo ‘More than Health Care – Humane Care’ is enshrined in its
work ethics.
